VAMWE vave kutofunga kuti gore ra2017 harina kutanga zvakanaka pamusana pokuti nyaya yezvirwere zvinokonzerwa noutsvina, kushaikwa nokuwanikwa kwemvura ndiyo iri mudariro.

Asi icho chinombonzi taifoidhi chii nokuti ndiyo iri kunyanyotaurwa?

Taifoidhi:

PachiRungu inonzi “typhoid” kana kuti “enteric fever”. Dr Manyame vanoti, “taifoidhi inokonzerwa nemabhakitiriya  anonzi “salmonella typhi”, anowanikwa pasi rese, asi anonetsa munzvimbo dzisina utsanana, nemvura isina kukwana nekutsvinda.”

Taifoidhi chirwere “chinoparadzirwa nechikafu, kana mvura yapindwa neutachiona hwabva mutsvina yevari kurwara nacho, kana kuti vanaya, asi vachine mabhakitiriya muura hwavo. Chinowanikwa muvanhu chete, hapana mhuka inoita chirwere ichi.”

Vanoenderera mberi vachitsanangura kuti, “zvinotora vhiki imwe chete kusvika mavhiki matatu kuti munhu azorwara kubva paatapura utachiona. Munhu anotanga kunzwa musoro kutema nekusangonzwa zvakanaka, pamwe achikosora nekurwadziwa mumatumburira.

“Vamwe vanoita manyoka, pamwe ane ropa, neupundu hwakatsvukuruka pamatumburira, nezasi kwechipfuva.

“Chingangonetsa kuziva kuti ndicho, asi munhu akati kwaabva kune vamwe vane taifoidhi, zvinobatsira. Utachiona hunoonekwa tsvina, weti  kana ropa zvikatariswa kurabhoritari, kutsinhira zviri kufungirwa. Zvinogona kutora mwedzi wese munhu achirwara, kana akasarapwa.”

Dr Manyame vanotiwo taifoidhi “inorapwa nemaandibhayotiki, asi varwere vachiri kunaya vanoramba vachiparadzira chirwere. Saka, munhu haanzi haachisiri kuparadzira taifodhi kusvika tsvina kana weti yake yaonekwa kuti haisisina utachiona katatu (mazuva akasiyana), kurabhoritari.

Vanopawo ruzivo rwakadzama kupinda zvinozivikanwa navanhu vachiti: “Kana munhu akasarapwa, anogona kupedzisira aita njodzi yekubuda ropa muura, kana kubooka ura, utachiona hwopinda  muropa nokupararira muviri wese. Murwere anoita nyomoniya (Pneumonia) mumapapu, yero mumaziso, itsvo dzichitadza kusevenza asingaiti weti, kana kurasika pfungwa asingazive zvaari kuita.”

Mutsanangudzo yavo, Dr Manyame vanopedzisa vachiti, “Munhu anogona kuve neutachiona kwamakore asingarwari, asi achigona kuchiparadzira utachiona mumvura nechikafu. Kazhinji utachiona hunenge huri munduru (gallbladder) zvekuti kuibvisa zvingabatsire.”

Vanoyambira, sezviri kungoitwa nebazi reutano kuti “zvakakosha kuve neutsanana nguva dzese.”

Muverengi, hapana mhuka inofurira imwe. Kuve neruzivo, nokurwushandisa nemazvo zvakakosha. Kana tisiri kunzwisisa, ko kungonobvunza vanamazvikokota pamakiriniki nezvipatara zvakatikomberedza zvakaipei? Kufambiswa kwamashoko nokuwana ruzivo zvave nyore zvakanyanya mazuva ano, zvokuti kunyange uri kure nekiriniki kana chiremba, endawo paInternet, woverenga zvinyorwa zvaunofunga kuti zvine mashoko echokwadi.

Kana usina kugutsikana, endawo ipapo paWhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter kana mbozha tsamba wobvunzawo vamwe kuti chinonzi taifoidhi chii; inokonzerwa nei; uyewo unoziva sei kuti unayo, kana kuti unosungirwa kuita sei? Zivawo kuti inorapwa sei kana kuti inopedzwa nei.

Ngatirambe kufa takasvinura samatemba, irwo ruzivo rwakazara. Zvairi kunzi iri muno muZimbabwe, hazvirevi kuti tiri nyika yakatukwa, asi kuti ngatifarire utsanana. Huyanga hwanyanya. Tsvina yakazara pese pese mumaguta haingonyunguduka, asi inoda kuti vanhu vese vaise musoro pamwe chete vati tsvina usandizembere ndapota. Kapfungwa kari mune vamwe vanhu unokaona mumufananidzo watinawo uyu.

Zvinonetsa kunzwisisa kuti pamusana pei kuti posita rinozivisa nezvetaifoidhi, rakange rakasungirirwa zvakanaka panzvimbo inosangana vanhu vakawanda vekereke, rakapedzisira rapidigurwa kunge rinotaura zvisina musoro.
