“Varume vedu kare ndivo vaiziva kurera mhuri kwazvo, vaiita kunonzi kudhonza kureva kuti vaisasiya mbeu muna amai pakuita bonde vachiziva kuti vaida kuti mwana akure. Vamwe vairara kwavo, madzimai kwavo kudzimara mwana akura,” vanodaro Mbuya Razawo.

Kwayedza inoita hurukuro nevanhu pamusoro penyaya yekuti zvinoita here kuti varume vatengere madzimai avo mapiritsi ekurera mhuri ave kushandiswa mazuva ano.
Victor Chari (37) wekwaMurehwa anoti haakwanise kutenga mapiritsi ekudzivirira pamuviri emudzimai wake.
“Handitengere mudzimai mapiritsi efamily planning, ini kuita izvi hazvina kusiyana nekudyiswa. Mudzimai ndiye anoziva kuti mapiritsi ake apera kana imo mandinoatenga vanonditi handina kukwana,” anodaro Chari.

Anotiwo haakwanise zvakare kutenga makondomu, oenda nawo kumba kunoshandisa nemudzimai senzira yekudzivirira pamuviri asi kunoashandisira kunze.
VaTito Shumba Mandaza (40) vekuGlen View, muHarare vanotiwo hazvina hunhu kuti vaonekwe vachitenga mapiritsi emudzimai wavo ekuronga mhuri.
“Mukadzi ngaatenge oga mapiritsi nekuti ndiye anoanwa, kwete ini. Panyaya yemakondomu, haaende kumba uye kana ndikatoaona mumba mangu kunofiwa. Ini ndinotenga angu ezvigororo musango, kwete kuenda nawo kumba. Zvemakondomu ekumagemhu ndinotenga ndichitoshevedzera kuti ndipei makondomu ayo, kwete kunzwika ndichiti ndipei mapiritsi ekurera mhuri. Zvakaoma,” vanodaro.

Cynthia Makaripe (23) wekuGlen View, muHarare zvekare, anoti hapana chinonyadzisa pakuti murume atengere mudzimai wake mapiritsi ekuronga mhuri kana makondomu.
“Pane asingazive here kuti kondomu rinoshandiswe chii kana kuti mapiritsi ekudzivirira kubata mimba anoshandei? Ini ndinogona kunotenga zvose uye kana ivo baba vanokwanisa kunotenga,” anodaro Makaripe.
