“NYUCHI dzinoruma, asi dzine mari.”

Aya mashoko aMaud Kanengoni anova mumwe wevechidiki vekumaruwa avo vari kutsigirwa neHurumende kuita mabhindauko akatsaukana paChibhero College of Agriculture kuburikidza nebazi rezveminda, kurima, hove nekusimudzirwa kwemadiridziro.

Kanengoni anoti huchi hunodiwa zvikuru mumisika yemuno nekunze.

“Vanhu vanongotyira bedzi kutenga huchi hwemanyepo nekuti kune vamwe vanobika shuga voisa mumagaba asi vanoziva huchi chaihwo vanopidigura gaba racho, kana huri huchi hwechokwadi hunoumba bhora guru rinotenderera asi kana iri shuga haidaro.

“Huchi hwedu hunotengwa muzvitoro zvikuru zviri munyika nekuti hune nhoroondo yakanaka. Huchi hunofanira kuiswa mumagaba akachena nekuti kudya kwevanhu kunoda kuchengetedzeka zvakanaka,” anodaro.

Kanengoni anoti huchi hunoshandiswa mukagadzira jamu rekuisa pachingwa, mishonga yechikosoro, hunoiswa musvutugadzike seshuga asi husingakonzeri zvirwere uye kushandiswa senamo, pakati pezvimwe zvinhu zvakakosha.

“Nyuchi dzinoda kuchengetwa panzvimbo ine miti inotonhorera uye ine maruva nekuti zvinobatsira kuti dzigare dzakasununguka dzikwanise kugadzira huchi hwakawanda. Sezvamunoona pano pachikoro, mikoko yedu iri mubindu ratakarima miti yemiranjisi.

“Pamukoko mumwe chete, tinogona kumora huchi hunosvika 10kgs – 20kgs zvichienderana nekuwanda kwenyuchi dzacho,” anodaro.

Anoti pakugadzira mukoko, varimi vanokurudzirwa kuisa oyiri pamakumbo esimbi kana matanda emukoko senzira yekudzinga masvosve netumwe tumbuyu tungada kupinda mumukoko wenyunchi.

“Vamwe vanopenda mikoko yavo asi hazvidi kuzoshandisa dzimwe pendi dzine minhuhwi inotogona kudzinga nyuchi dzacho. Nyuchi hadzidi kudenhwa nekuti twumbuyu twunonzwa zvakawanda kuburikidza nekufembedza kana kunzwa zvinoitika kunze paganda kana paminhenga yadzo saka dzinokurumidza kuziva kuti nzvimbo iyi yakanaka kana kuti yakaipa.

“Zvekare, kune dzimwe pefiyumu (mafuta anonhuwira) anokwezva nyuchi kana mbatya dzine ruvara rwakajeka seyero izvo zvinoita kuti nyuchi dzikutevere dzopedzisira dzakuruma. Isu patinomora huchi, tinotevedza zvinodiwa nenyuchi uye tinopfeka hovhorosi inovhara muviri wose ichisiya chiso bedzi nemagirovhosi nekuti pamwe dzinenge dzakadenhwa usipo dzopedzisira dzakuruma.”

Kanengoni anoti kana vanhu vachinge vaita dambudziko renyuchi, ngavazivise vanoona nezvenyuchi vari pedyo navo kuti vazodzibata.
